About the Role:

The Territory Manager will be the key point of contact between FMC Corporation and customers, both channel and end users. They will be responsible for developing and executing sales targets, collection and liquidation targets for all key crops and product portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute territory sales targets, collection and liquidation targets for all key crops and product portfolios.
  • Meet with customers regularly to discuss sales and product portfolio.
  • Demonstrate and present FMC's product portfolio and services to channel and end users.
  • Develop and implement product strategies to fill identified market gaps and drive consistent sales.
  • Develop new customers and strengthen existing customer base for both channel and end users.
  • Forecast sales for product SKU wise and liquidation, achieve accuracy and maintain correct records.
  • Participate in local trade exhibitions and work with local KVK's for branding FMC's portfolio.
  • Develop understanding of competitive landscape and report competitor activity and FMC's actions.
  • Continuously evaluate existing channel partners and extend support to them.
  • Focus on strengthening the market by identifying new retailers as per process.
  • Effective utilization of resources by prioritizing market units.
  • Estimate and provide territory wise MC & Sample requirement for the year needed to sell and liquidate annual target.
  • Coach and train extended team to deliver sales target.
  • Effective usage of social media and other digital platforms to create awareness in the territory.
  • Identify and develop new market segments for portfolio promotion and sales with new business opportunities in the territory.
  • Monitor competition in the territory with respect to their products, customer centric activities and buying trends.

Education Qualification:

  • BSc Agriculture / MSc Agriculture / BSc (chemistry preferably) / MSc.
  • Proficiency in local language mandatory and English Language preferred.
  • Masters in Agribusiness or Marketing Management from a reputed institute Preferred.
