About us

We are an established special school in Chennai, founded by a renowned institution with a long-standing legacy in education. Our centrally located campus provides a scenic backdrop for our dedicated team to provide special education and vocational training for children and adults with Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Learning Disabilities, Intellectual Disabilities, and Down Syndrome.

Our pre-vocational and vocational training programs, including the NIOS curriculum, are designed to support students with diverse needs. A multidisciplinary team of rehabilitation professionals provides physiotherapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy to ensure comprehensive care.

Who are we looking for?

  • Developing and implementing Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs, in collaboration with parents, therapists, and other school staff.
  • Delivering customised instruction to students based on their individual needs and learning styles.
  • Modifying the standard curriculum to meet the abilities of students with disabilities.
  • Implementing and monitoring behaviour intervention plans and using positive behaviour supports.
  • Working closely with general education teachers, therapists, counsellors, and parents to support students' academic and social development.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or P.G. Diploma or Master's degree in Special Education or equivalent in Multiple Disabilities.
  • Patience, empathy and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using educational technology and assistive aids and devices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Good organisational and documentation skills.
  • Familiarity with assistive technology and specialised instructional strategies.
