  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Documentation Management: Prepare and submit export documents, including invoices, packing lists, and bill of lading drafts.
  2. Insurance Certificate Generation: Utilize online portals to generate insurance certificates and ensure sufficient insured amount balances.
  3. Hazardous Cargo Handling: Understand hazardous cargo classifications, packing groups, and prepare dangerous goods declarations.
  4. Candidate will be responsible for all Communication and Co-ordination with Factory, CHA, Forwarding Agent, Transporter, Shipping Lines & Customers.
  5. Negotiating Air or Sea freight with forwarders, shipping line or CHA.
  6. Checking and approving SB Checklists /BOE Checklist/ AWB Draft / BL Draft, etc.
  7. Co-ordinating with freight forwarders for flight / vessel booking.
  8. Arranging courier shipments thru DHL / FedEx.
  9. Knowledge of Letter of Credit (LC) Shipments.
  10. Ensuring regular review and understanding requirements of SCOMET and Narcotics for every shipment.
  11. Resolving queries from export customers promptly and efficiently.
  12. Arranging transport for FCL shipments, factory stuffing.
  13. Applying for Preferential & Non-preferential COOs online.
  14. Ability to handle multiple shipments at a time efficiently.
  15. Sending final shipment documents to customers and keeping track of cargo till it is delivered to client.
  16. Maintaining accurate records for all export shipments, including up-to-date status of EGM and RODTEP benefit.
  17. Knowledge of RODTEP Scrip generation and other DGFT / ICEGATE applications.
  18. Arranging relevant packing considering nature of shipments, especially for dangerous goods.
  19. Ensure compliance with import / export regulations, including HS codes, tariffs, and taxes.
  20. Maintain accurate records and reports, including import data and compliance documents.
  21. Collaborate with internal teams, such as logistics, finance, and procurement, to ensure alignment and efficiency.
  22. Stay updated on changes in import / export regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
