Business Valuation Role

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Senior Associate in Business Valuation.

As a key member of our valuation team, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, identifying risks, and challenging assumptions related to future financial projections.

  • You will assist in the development of discount rates and conduct financial statement analysis using common size analysis, ratio analysis, trend analysis, and industry comparative analysis.
  • Your primary activities will include performing market/industry research, developing growth estimates, constructing and reviewing valuation models, and assisting with the design and preparation of valuation reports.
  • You will present analyses and conclusions to internal management and external clients, their boards of directors, and fiduciaries.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field required; advanced degree and/or certifications preferred.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience performing work related to fair value, fair value measurements, purchase price allocation, and goodwill impairments in a public accounting, consulting, or investment banking environment.
  • Experience in traditional valuation methods, valuing contingent consideration, and building, analyzing, and reviewing financial models for high-level decision-making.
  • Comprehensive experience with financial databases such as Capital IQ, Bloomberg, and other high-level tools.
  • Track record of managing multiple high-stakes projects and delivering under tight deadlines.
