Mechanical Design Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for developing innovative vehicle systems and ensuring seamless integration with other engineering teams.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-quality vehicle systems, particularly focusing on 2-wheelers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of Engineering Bill of Materials (BoM) and Engineering Change Notifications (ECN).
  • Develop a thorough understanding of automobile systems and EV-related systems, leveraging expertise in New Product Development cycles and design/drafting parts with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) for vehicle systems.
  • Benchmark and coordinate with suppliers for Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks, including part modeling, drafting, assembly, system layouts, and vehicle-level layouts.
  • Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and HyperMesh & CAE analysis.
  • Strong behavioral skills, including teamwork, interpersonal skills, persuasiveness, self-discipline, conflict resolution, and effective communication.
  • Able to learn quickly and adapt to a dynamic work environment.

Software Skills:

  • Proficient in SolidWorks.
  • Familiar with PLM and HyperMesh & CAE analysis.

Education:

  • B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
