As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing roof rail systems for hatchback, SUV, and passenger vehicle programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop roof rail systems with consideration to structural strength, safety, styling, and manufacturing constraints.
  • Evaluate feasibility and optimize designs for cost and durability by assessing manufacturability.
  • Maintain packaging awareness and collaborate with adjacent systems (roof, body side, sealing, trim).
  • Prepare and review 3D/2D design documentation using CATIA V5.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (styling, BIW, trim, manufacturing).
  • Apply learnings from prior vehicle program experiences to deliver high-quality results.

This role requires expertise in roof rail design, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 4–8 years of experience in roof rail design.
  • Expertise in roof rail systems design, development, and optimization.
  • Strong understanding of structural strength, safety, and styling considerations.
  • Familiarity with CATIA V5 design software.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
