Software Engineer (Ruby on Rails)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced software engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of object-oriented programming concepts, with a proven track record of designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop complex web applications that meet the needs of our users.
  • Maintain and improve existing codebases to ensure they remain efficient and scalable.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications.
  • Debug and troubleshoot production issues.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails development.
  • Strong understanding and practical experience with object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Solid experience working with databases and data modeling.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven experience in writing clean, well-tested, and maintainable code.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and a proactive approach to work.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
  • Experience or working knowledge of React.js or other front-end frameworks.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native application development.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with background job processing and real-time features.
