Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to join our team. This role involves managing contract documents, ensuring compliance with CPWD and/or FIDIC guidelines, and maintaining effective communication with project stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of legal and commercial aspects of contracts, as well as excellent negotiation, communication, and documentation skills.

  • Draft, review, and interpret contract documents as per CPWD and/or FIDIC guidelines.
  • Ensure all contractual obligations are well-defined, documented, and executed in line with project objectives.
  • Manage correspondence related to contract variations, extensions, claims, and notices.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Law, or related discipline.
  • Experience: 5+ years in contract management for infrastructure or public sector projects using CPWD and/or FIDIC contract formats.
  • Certifications (Preferred):
  • FIDIC Contract Management Certification
  • CPWD Works Procedure / Contracts training
  • RICS / PMP or similar project/construction contract certifications
Skills Required:
  • In-depth knowledge of CPWD Works Manual, GCC, SCC, and government tendering procedures.
  • Hands-on experience with FIDIC contract formats (Red, Yellow, Silver Books).
  • Strong understanding of legal and commercial aspects of contracts.
  • Good negotiation, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, contract management tools, and project management software.
  • Ability to interpret complex contract clauses and apply them practically.
