Sector Development Strategist
About the Role:This role involves designing solutions and strategies for key sectors, focusing on business model development, market linkages, and access to finance.
The emphasis is on building partnerships with private sector actors and supporting sustainable, community-led enterprises that contribute to economic growth and poverty reduction.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop, implement, and modify strategies and solutions for sector promotion.
- Conduct and lead technical workshops with stakeholders, including market engagement sessions.
- IDentify key market players and facilitate linkages, business development pitches, and financing initiatives.
- Design capacity-building modules for target beneficiaries in collaboration with consortium partners.
- Prepare, review, and submit relevant reports to Team Leader.
- A postgraduate degree in Environmental Science, Forestry, Finance, or Business.
- Proficiency in English and Hindi language skills.
- At least 8 years of professional experience in natural resources management, agroforestry, and nature-based businesses; 5 years of experience in value chain promotion, marketing, business model development, and establishing market linkages, including providing access to finance with a focus on agro/agroforestry/ayurvedic products; 4 years of the total experience in projects in India.
