The role of a BIM Technician is pivotal in the construction industry, facilitating seamless coordination and collaboration across various stages of a project lifecycle.


Job Description:
Reporting to the Head of Digital Services, this individual will be responsible for coordinating construction model information and implementing Building Information Modelling (BIM) through the design, construction, and operational phases. A background in building design is essential, with a willingness to adopt a multidisciplinary approach.

Key Responsibilities:
• Attending weekly meetings with the Digital Services Team to agree on workload and task prioritization
• Collaborating with the UK Digital Services team to assign issues to relevant organizations and personnel, ensuring robustly coordinated designs are delivered
• Managing the ACC Design collaboration, coordination space, QA/QC reviews, and workflow

Requirements:
• Strong understanding of Building Information Modelling and its benefits to the construction industry
• Structured background experience in the field
• Good knowledge of Solibri Office
• Experience with various modelling packages and their interoperation
• Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects while maintaining a deadline focus
• Interpersonal skills, particularly in guiding individuals through the information modelling process
• Passion for quality and continuous improvement with a focus on delivery
