About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced E-commerce Platform Architect to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, experience with Ruby on Rails, and knowledge of JavaScript front-end technologies. They will be responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining our e-commerce platform, ensuring it is scalable, efficient, and provides an excellent user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new features and functionality for our e-commerce platform
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 10-14 years of experience with primary expertise in Ruby on Rails and familiarity with JavaScript front-end technologies
  • Strong understanding of web development cycle and programming techniques and tools
  • Focus on efficiency, user experience, and process improvement
  • Excellent project and time management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or with a group
