Job Description for Front Office Executive
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional guest services, handling arrivals, departures, rooming, and special requests.
  • Optimize hotel occupancy and room rates while ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Assist the Asst Front Office Manager in maintaining a highly efficient front office.

Key Tasks:

  • Ensure a thorough understanding of front office operations, including reception procedures and reservations.
  • Develop and conduct training programs for Front Office employees.
  • Direct daily front office operations and attend to credit problems.
  • Perform other duties as directed by the Front Office Manager.

Human Resources Responsibilities:

  • Establish on-going training programs and induct new staff into the team.
  • Openly communicate with staff and ensure regular briefings occur.

Systems & Procedures:

  • Log and inform Front Office Manager of system problems and suggest improvements.
  • Follow policies and procedures outlined in the Departmental Service Standards/Procedures Manual.

Health & Safety:

  • Use safe manual handling techniques and maintain a clean, tidy work area.
  • Report health or safety hazards and ensure all equipment is kept in good working order.

Customer Service:

  • Provide efficient, friendly, and professional service to all guests.
  • Take initiative to ensure positive interactions with guests and colleagues.

Other:

  • Take responsibility for completing tasks accurately and within given time frames.
  • Participate in scheduled training and development programs to improve self and department standards.
