Corporate Legal Specialist

We are seeking an accomplished professional to assume a key role in our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting, reviewing, and finalizing legal documents related to financial transactions, capital raise, borrowings, investments, IT & Cyber Security, and regulatory matters.

• Providing support to cross-functional teams, including business, operations, finance, risk, compliance, HR, IT, and secretarial.

• Liaising with external experts, statutory auditors, and regulators.

• Coordinating litigation matters and drafting/reviewing of documents for legal proceedings.

• Offering strategic guidance on corporate legal matters and risk mitigation.

• Maintaining and updating records of legal contracts, agreements, and related documents.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in handling legal matters with a scheduled commercial bank or RBI Registered NBFC.

• Exposure to drafting of agreements relating to financial transactions, capital raise, borrowings, due diligence, stressed assets, IT & Cyber Security, vendor management, and related regulatory matters.

• Experience in engaging with law firms on litigation, arbitration, negotiated settlements, and other related court proceedings.

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
