Job Role Description:
- Prospective candidate will be a qualified lawyer with expertise in corporate law, holding a degree in law (LL.B) from a reputable institution.
- Individual should possess a minimum of 5-8 years of experience in the corporate legal sector, preferably within the banking industry or top non-banking financial corporations (NBFCs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive legal advice and support to large corporates, wholesale banking entities, structured deals, trade finance initiatives, and transactional banking products.
- Develop and maintain standard agreements, templates, and legal guidelines for various products and documentation as required.
- Assume responsibility for managing the legal affairs and risk profiles associated with business operations.
About the Job:
The Junior Legal Counsel will work closely with senior management to provide expert legal advice on corporate matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in corporate law, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to function effectively within a team environment.
Requirements:
- Hold a degree in law (LL.B)
- At least 5-8 years of experience in corporate legal practices
