At the forefront of delivering high-quality gaming experiences, we seek an experienced Quality Assurance Lead. This pivotal role involves ensuring that our games meet the highest standards of quality and excellence.

Job Overview

We are looking for a seasoned QA professional who can drive the overall quality of our games. You will collaborate closely with our Product Management team to understand game updates and convey this information to your team. Your responsibility will be to create accurate test cases and ensure our games are tested from an end-user's perspective.

You will manage a team of skilled testers and take charge of test case management and team work. You will define tools for the team, such as test case management software or automation tools. You will also work with your managers to estimate effort for all testing activities and ensure the teams complete test phases on time.

As a QA Lead, you must have a thorough understanding of QA stages, tools, and techniques in mobile gaming. You should also possess knowledge of iOS and Android testing, as well as experience shipping mobile games from start to finish in a leadership role. Strong leadership and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to inspire others and facilitate knowledge sharing between test teams.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with the Product Team to understand game updates.
  2. Communicate this information to the team and ensure accurate test cases are created.
  3. Review Requirements and Builds from an End user's Perspective.
  4. Involve task execution and Review the task done by the testing team.
  5. Create a Test Plan, and all kinds of documentation.
  6. Proactively manage tasks and deliver tests within given timelines.
  7. Manage team member performance and development.
  8. Optimize test plans by periodically reviewing team productivity, test cases executed, and eliminating inefficiencies.
Requirements
  • At least 5-6 years of experience in a senior testing role.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience shipping mobile games from start to finish in a leadership role, working alongside development teams.
  • Thorough understanding of QA stages, tools, and techniques in mobile gaming.
  • Strong knowledge of iOS and Android testing.
  • Familiarity with SDLC and STLC.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with an ability to inspire others.
  • Familiarity managing multiple onsite and external test teams.
  • Proven experience hiring, training, and mentoring junior team members to build a strong team around them.
  • Use of Test Case Management software.
  • Understanding technical and performance requirements of mobile games, and creating test plans to confirm compliance.
Education

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, preferably with additional certifications in Quality Assurance.
