Job Role Overview

The AVP Product Manager plays a pivotal leadership position in driving strategic initiatives, ensuring operational excellence, and supporting business growth.

This role is responsible for aligning departmental goals with the company's overall vision, overseeing cross-functional teams, and managing high-impact projects to enhance customer experience, regulatory compliance, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 1. Product Ideation & Market Research: Conduct market research and product ideation to drive business growth and profitability.
  • 2. Product Design & Pricing Strategy: Develop product design and pricing strategies that meet business objectives.
  • 3. Internal Approvals & Governance: Obtain internal approvals and ensure governance compliance.
  • 4. Regulatory Filing – IRDAI Coordination: Coordinate with IRDAI for regulatory filing.
  • 5. Pre-Launch Preparation & Testing: Prepare and conduct pre-launch testing.
  • 6. Go-to-Market Strategies: Develop go-to-market strategies for product launch.
  • 7. Product Launch & Monitoring: Launch products and monitor their performance.
  • 8. Regulatory & Risk Management Post-Launch: Manage regulatory and risk aspects post-launch.
  • 9. Stakeholder Reporting: Provide stakeholder reports on product performance.
  • 10. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement: Lead teams and engage with stakeholders to drive business growth.
    • Must be Post Graduate with 8+ years of experience in Product Development for Life insurance.
