Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT services industry analyst to join our team. As a leading authority in the market, you will be responsible for analyzing the IT services market on behalf of IT services companies and their clients.

Your primary duties will include:

  • Producing detailed IT services market analyses
  • Creating very detailed market analyses and profiles of IT Services providers
  • Serving as a subject matter expert and demonstrating thought leadership to our clients
  • Providing market intelligence to major enterprises and multinationals

In addition, you will be required to:

  • Interview senior personnel within major IT service providers
  • Write profiles and market analyses
  • Assess vendor capability and produce NEAT charts
  • Attend industry analyst events
  • Assist vendor firms in their strategic development and operational transformation needs
  • Track vendor news and announcements
  • Develop a social media presence and propagate our research and insights
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A deep understanding of the IT services industry, particularly operational transformation
  • Strong communication skills to facilitate building relationships across the market
  • Knowledge of the IT services market gained through experience in bid support roles or similar
  • Objective opinions and a desire to become a thought leader in the market
  • MBA qualifications are valued, but existing domain experience and enthusiasm are of greater importance
