We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate professional to join our team as a Mental Health Counselor. This is a unique opportunity to combine counseling expertise with proactive engagement, and help foster a culture of openness, empathy, and resilience on campus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide overnight mental health support on a rotational basis.
  • Conduct in-person counseling sessions in student hostels.
  • Facilitate walk-in sessions and manage student appointments through the YourDOST portal.
  • Undertake floor walks in hostels to build visibility, accessibility, and trust with students.
  • Maintain timely case notes, records, and reports while upholding strict confidentiality and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with the team to run awareness drives, workshops, and well-being campaigns across campus.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology (mandatory).
  • Experience in working with youth/academic mental health.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with students in an empathetic, approachable way.
  • Comfortable with flexible working hours, including night shifts.
  • Fluent in English and Hindi (knowledge of Bengali is a plus).
  • Willingness to stay on campus.
