Global Trade Growth Strategist

Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced sales leader to drive cross-border ocean/air freight B2B business development and acquisition efforts. As a key member of our team, you will contribute significantly to our growth, foster strong relationships with clients across various industries, and play a vital role in the overall success of Xhipment.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute business development strategies for the ocean/air freight B2B segment, identifying potential customers, exploring new markets, and creating effective sales plans to drive revenue growth.
- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their unique logistics requirements and presenting tailored solutions to meet their needs.
- Sales Execution: Execute sales strategies to achieve targets and objectives, mentoring team members, offering support, and fostering a high-performance culture within the team.
- Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify opportunities and potential challenges, utilizing this knowledge to devise effective sales strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, customer service, and technology, to ensure smooth customer onboarding, service delivery, and issue resolution.
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Professional Experience: Minimum 1 year of cross-border logistics sales experience with a freight forwarder/liner (preferred).
- Customer Obsession: A demonstrated commitment to ensuring exceptional customer experiences and a passion for exceeding customer expectations.
- Ownership Mentality: Proven ability to take ownership of projects, think long-term, and deliver results, taking responsibility for customer success.
- Bias for Action: Strong ability to act quickly and decisively, collaborating effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to drive business outcomes.
