Job Title: Senior Executive

Job Purpose:

To achieve yard and ship targets in coordination with planners, tower controllers, gate supervisors, operators, and service providers.

  • Direct and control physical activities in the yard, vessel, road queue, ship arrivals, and general terminal housekeeping and cleanliness.
  • Work towards achieving operations key performance indicators (KPI).
  • Ensure all staff wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Handle out-of-gauge (OOG) containers using proper gears without delay.
  • Ensure lashers follow buddy system while working at pinning/unpinning/onboard/fixing slings/man cage/ladder, etc.
  • Maintain safety and achieve incident-free shifts.
  • Randomly check lashers/checkers onboard headcount.
  • Ensure personnel under your control effectively perform tasks to achieve daily operational requirements.
  • Comply with policy and liaise with clients and other bodies to maintain close cooperation and goodwill.
  • Communicate effectively and ensure company policy is implemented in practice.
  • Exercise leadership, promote teamwork, and ensure adherence to company policy.
  • Provide feedback on operational matters and discuss problems and changes of procedures to enhance efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Perform any other duties as advised or informed by superiors.

Qualifications & Competencies:

Key qualifications include knowledge of TOS/Zodiac, equipment operations, LMV license, and driving experience.
