Engineering Program Manager Job Description

Greetings to all professionals seeking a challenging role. We have an urgent requirement for an Engineering Program Manager position with one of our clients in Chennai & Mumbai Location.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading engineering programs and managing cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage engineering programs from initiation to completion.
  • Lead cross-functional teams consisting of engineers, project managers, and technical specialists.
  • Develop and execute project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Maintain high-quality engineering standards and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of program management experience in financial services or technology.
  • 5+ years of experience in banking, fintech, or highly regulated industries.
  • Demonstrated experience managing programs with significant budgets.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of banking systems (core banking, payment processing, risk management).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Knowledge of modern software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps).
  • Understanding of data management, analytics, and reporting platforms.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and practices.
