Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent the organization's highest standards of personal presentation and conduct at all times during service.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in efficient time management, presentation, and workflow.
  • Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques associated with assigned stations.
  • Maintain consistent delivery of high-quality food items according to established standards and specifications.
  • Ensure the mise en place of designated stations is performed to exacting standards at all times.
  • Foster a clean and well-maintained work environment through regular equipment upkeep.
  • Communicate all operational issues directly to senior culinary staff.
  • Coordinate ordering requirements with senior chefs when instructed.
  • Cultivate a positive team atmosphere by actively participating in employee development and contributing to a collaborative work environment.
  • Confidently manage multiple kitchen stations with minimal supervision.
  • Promote a friendly, courteous, and professional service experience for guests at all times.
  • Nurture strong working relationships with colleagues and other departments.
  • Adhere to strict punctuality and maintain impeccable personal hygiene and grooming standards at all times.
  • Be flexible and willing to adapt job duties to accommodate changing business demands and guest needs.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of opening and closing procedures and effectively prepare prep lists.
  • Exhibit mastery of recipe knowledge and portion control principles.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
  • Attend scheduled meetings and training sessions as required.
