Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Power BI developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and optimizing data models, including star and snowflake schemas. They will also develop complex DAX calculations and KPIs to extract actionable business insights from large datasets.

Additional responsibilities include integrating data from multiple sources such as SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, and APIs. The candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

They will also perform data validation and resolve issues to ensure accuracy and performance. Furthermore, the candidate will implement row-level security and user-specific data access policies.

Advise on Power BI governance, best practices, and self-service analytics strategies. Manage data refresh schedules and monitor report performance.

Candidate must be able to coordinate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to ensure seamless delivery.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 12+ years of experience in Power BI development
  • Expertise in advanced DAX and data modeling
  • Strong proficiency with Power Query/M language
  • Skilled in dashboard and report design with focus on user experience
  • Experience with Power BI Service and Power BI Report Server
  • Knowledge of row-level security, gateway setup, and deployment processes
  • Familiarity with Power BI REST API and embedding techniques
  • Proficient in writing T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions
  • Experienced in data extraction, transformation, and integration using SQL
  • Comfortable working with large datasets and tuning for performance
