Job Opportunity: Risk Analyst

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of daily credit and market risk reports for senior stakeholders.
  • Production of in-depth risk analysis and inputs for management committee packs.
  • Review and submission of limit breach notifications to relevant parties.
  • Conducting thorough credit analysis of new and existing clients to ensure robust risk oversight.
  • Providing timely responses to ad hoc queries on limit utilisation and counterparty requests.
  • Monitoring and providing margin rates, escalating issues as needed.
  • Supporting colleagues in the absence of risk analysts or market risk leads.
  • Training graduate analysts rotating through the team.
  • Assistance with ad hoc risk initiatives and projects.

Collaboration is key in this role. You will regularly work with Legal, Compliance, Operations, Front Office, Treasury, and Trade Support to ensure effective risk oversight.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate complex information effectively.
  • Proven experience in risk analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
