Risk Management Specialist

The role of the Risk Management Specialist is to develop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework that aligns with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and market conditions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across credit, operational, and compliance domains through policies and frameworks.
- Monitoring emerging credit risks and recommending proactive measures.
- Ensuring effective portfolio monitoring, stress testing, and expected credit loss forecasting.
- Leveraging data analytics and machine learning tools to enhance risk control and provide insights for risk modeling, fraud detection, and early warning systems.
- Preparing and presenting regular risk reports to senior management and the board, providing insights into portfolio performance and emerging risks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Master's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in risk management, ideally in the banking or financial services sector, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of credit and financial risk, operational risk, and familiarity with regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in risk management and data analytics tools, ideally including Python and SQL.
