The successful candidate will have strong experience in automation frameworks, testing tools, and a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications.
- Execute regression, functional, integration, and performance tests.
- Identify, log, and track defects; work closely with developers to resolve issues.
- Collaborate with QA, development, and business teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Enhance and optimize automation frameworks for scalability and reusability.
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives in Agile/Scrum environments.
Technical skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of programming/scripting languages: Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
- Experience in API testing (Postman, RestAssured, Karate, etc.).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
- Understanding of databases (SQL, Oracle, MySQL).
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative Agile team.
