Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

This is a senior-level role where you will be responsible for leading the quality assurance team to ensure that all development tasks meet quality criteria through test planning and automation planning. You will work closely with the engineering team to understand product architecture and functionality to ensure good quality feature delivery.

In this role, you will take complete ownership of release deliverables along with multitasking and mentoring. You will generate QA artifacts like test plans, test cases, and test execution reports, release deployment guides, etc. You will identify, document, and track defects and collaborate with the development team to resolve issues.

You will also conduct exploratory testing to find defects that might not be covered by test cases. Deploy microservices applications in an engineering environment, support the SRE team for production releases, and improve processes for test plan reviews. Review test strategies and ensure thoroughness of test scenarios.

The ideal candidate should have at least 8+ years of experience in functional and automated testing of SAAS products and leading a team of 3-5 engineers. Must have experience on public or private cloud platforms, certification of AWS, Azure, and GCP is a big plus.

Must have hands-on experience in test automation of multi-tier Enterprise and/or Cloud, SaaS applications, and microservices architecture using Kubernetes and Docker containers. Hands-on experience of functional UI and API automation, Linux knowledge is must.

Good to have experience on Kafka, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, Oracle DB.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in functional and automated testing of SAAS products and leading a team of 3-5 engineers.
