Senior Quality Assurance Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to lead our product quality initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and agile methodologies, with experience in building and maintaining quality processes to ensure products meet specifications for quality, function, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain functional test cases, system & integration test cases, and test artifacts used in the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Execute manual and automated test cases to validate product functionalities and code quality.
  • Track metrics and report results to stakeholders.
  • Document testing results and provide quality sign-off to project teams.
  • Configure QA performance/load test design and execution to ensure high-performance software environment under load.
  • Incorporate client usage and feedback into test scripts.
  • Diagnose problems and report bugs and enhancements to the Agile team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in STEM or related field.
  • 3+ years of application testing experience.
  • Experience with use case generation, manual testing, and bug lifecycle management.
  • Understanding of relational database models and GUI tools.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Exposure to bug tracking and test case management tools.
  • Experience testing and working with multi-browser and mobile device systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with C#, JUnit/TestNG, Jenkins, Playwright, Selenium, SoapUI.
  • Experience creating Playwright, Selenium, REST API, JUnit test automation.
  • Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman and JMeter.
