Seeking a seasoned manual tester to contribute to the quality assurance team.

The ideal candidate will design, execute and document test plans, cases and scripts to ensure software meets required standards of performance and reliability.

This role requires close collaboration with development, product and operations teams to identify defects, track issues and ensure timely resolution.

A strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and background in testing enterprise applications are essential.

The successful candidate will have experience in creating test plans, executing functional and regression testing and documenting outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute detailed test plans, test cases and test scripts.
  • Conduct functional, regression, integration and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Identify, document and track software defects with clear reporting.
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to validate bug fixes and enhancements.
  • Ensure test coverage aligns with business and technical requirements.
  • Analyze test results, provide feedback and recommend improvements.
  • Participate in sprint planning and agile ceremonies for test readiness.
  • Prepare and maintain testing documentation and reports for stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior testers and support the QA team in achieving best practices.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies and defect management tools.
  • Proficiency in writing test cases, bug reports and test documentation.
  • Familiarity with Jira, TestRail or similar test management tools.
  • Understanding of SDLC, STLC and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to handle complex systems testing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
  • Relevant certification preferred.

Experience

  • 4–7 years of hands-on experience in manual testing preferably in telecom or enterprise applications.
  • Experience in telecom software or network management systems is a strong plus.
