Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead static equipment design and engineering in compliance with international codes and standards.
  • Review client specifications, data sheets, and technical documents to ensure project alignment.
  • Develop and validate mechanical design calculations using tools such as PV Elite or equivalent.
  • Guide fabrication drawing preparation and review, inspection and test plans, and vendor coordination.
  • Manage a team of design and drafting engineers for timely delivery of engineering outputs.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure design integration.
  • Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, and vendor meetings.
  • Review and approve engineering documents for quality and compliance.
  • Provide technical support during procurement, fabrication, and construction phases.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
  • 10–18 years of relevant experience in static equipment design for EPC/Oil & Gas/Petrochemical projects
Preferred Skills:
  • Strong expertise in design codes: ASME Sec VIII Div.1 & Div.2, TEMA, API 650/620, PD 5500, IS codes
  • Proficiency in design software: PV Elite, NozzlePro, AutoCAD, SolidWorks (or similar)
  • Hands-on experience in fabrication drawings and vendor coordination
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills
  • Understanding of project lifecycle in EPC environment
