Lead Farm Operations Specialist

Job Summary:

The Lead Farm Operations Specialist will oversee the daily activities of our farm, ensuring all agricultural processes are carried out efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Farm Supervision and Management: Provide guidance and leadership to farm workers to achieve optimal productivity and quality.
  • Crop Management: Monitor crop health, implement effective pest and disease control measures, and maintain accurate records.
  • Maintenance and Upkeep: Ensure that equipment and facilities are properly maintained to prevent downtime and optimize performance.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of farm activities, including crop yields, labor hours, and maintenance schedules.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce health and safety protocols to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Quality Control and Inspection: Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Diploma in Agriculture or Horticulture
  • Experience: 1-2 years
  • Knowledge: Agricultural techniques, farm equipment, pest and disease control, and crop management
  • Skillset: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
