Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced leader to manage the Record to Report (RTR) function, ensuring accurate accounting, reconciliations, and reporting in compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

This role involves driving process excellence, overseeing journal entries, accruals, provisions, balance sheet reconciliations, and intercompany accounting, while partnering with cross-functional teams to support audits, compliance, and financial analysis requirements.

  • Manage the RTR function including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing.
  • Ensure accurate accounting, reconciliations, and reporting in compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
  • Oversee journal entries, accruals, provisions, balance sheet reconciliations, and intercompany accounting.
  • Drive process improvements, standardization, and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support audits, compliance, and financial analysis requirements.
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and control frameworks.
Key Skills & Competencies
  • Detailed knowledge of R2R / RTR processes including GL, closing & reporting, reconciliations, and controls.
  • Solid understanding of accounting standards (IFRS/US GAAP/IND AS).
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage a team and drive performance.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Education: Chartered Accountant
  • Experience: 10–14 years of overall experience with at least 4–5 years in R2R / RTR and team leadership.
  • Prior exposure to shared services / global finance operations is highly desirable.
