Learning and Development Manager

This is a pivotal role within the organization, responsible for spearheading Learning and Development initiatives that propel individual and organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct needs assessments to identify developmental requirements for individuals and teams.
  • Design and implement tailored learning strategies and programs that align with the organization's objectives.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of various business units and their unique learning needs.
  • Effectively implement diverse learning methods across the organization, including coaching, job shadowing, classroom/training sessions.
  • Create engaging e-learning courses, workshops, and training programs that cater to different learning styles.
  • Monitor and evaluate the success of development plans, ensuring employees maximize learning opportunities.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Manage the Learning and Development function, conduct gap analysis, and internal benchmarking exercises.
  • Proficiency in mapping skills/roles and upskilling employees based on organizational needs.
  • Foster a learning culture by optimizing the utilization of learning platforms and resources.
  • Strong analytical skills, enabling effective data interpretation and communication.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and set achievable goals.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, essential for collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, facilitating rapport-building with employees, vendors, and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an MBA (HR) with relevant professional certifications/affiliations in the L&OD space.
  • Minimum 10-12 years' experience in L&OD roles, with a proven track record of driving learning initiatives.
  • Working knowledge of Workday Learning module and proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Extensive experience in effective learning and development methodologies, e-learning platforms, and project management tools.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, coupled with sharp business acumen.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with employees, vendors, and stakeholders.
