Advanced Climate Engineering Role

We are seeking an experienced climate engineer to join our thermal management team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in thermodynamics and mechanical engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop CAB Climate functions in collaboration with thermal engineers, ensuring efficient temperature control and safety limits.
  • Establish performance targets for individual components and collaborate with component owners to meet these goals.
  • Work with simulation analysts to analyze cooling and heating system performance virtually and plan full vehicle testing.
  • Verify test outcomes and recommend necessary actions to meet set requirements.
  • Ensure vehicle compliance with regulatory and certification requirements from heating and cooling systems.
  • Lead System FMEA for heating and cooling systems and guide DFMEAs by component owners and engineers.
Requirements:
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Thermal/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering or similar with 10+ years of experience.
  • Proven experience in thermal management system engineering, CAB Climate.
  • In-depth knowledge of product development life cycles and change management activities required.
  • Ability to develop robust time plans and roadmaps for systems according to project milestones.
  • Validating designs through virtual and physical verifications.
