Automation Test Lead Position

Job Title: Automation Test Lead.

This position is responsible for designing and implementing test automation frameworks and strategies for mobile telecom applications, ensuring the efficiency and scalability of test automation processes across functional and non-functional testing efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Test Automation Framework:
    • Develop and maintain robust test automation frameworks for telco systems, including OSS/BSS, billing, CRM, and network monitoring applications.
  • Define Automation Strategies:
    • Evaluate and select tools and technologies that align with the telecom SDLC, considering factors such as functionality, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with Test Teams:
    • Work closely with test teams to improve test efficiency, reduce manual effort, and ensure timely execution of automated tests.
  • Prioritize Test Cases:
    • Identify and prioritize test cases for automation, ensuring that critical business processes are adequately covered.
  • Guide Team Development:
    • Train and guide the team in developing high-quality automated test scripts, following best practices for script reliability and maintainability.
  • Optimize Script Performance:
    • Improve the performance and efficiency of automated test scripts, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks in the automation framework.
  • CI/CD Integration:
    • Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to support continuous testing, ensuring seamless integration with existing development workflows.
  • Automated Testing:
    • Execute automated tests in a timely manner, using appropriate automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, Robot Framework, JUnit, and TestNG.
  • Containerization and DevOps:
    • Have proficiency in containerization technologies like Docker and understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
  • Key Expertise/Knowledge:
    • Experience in scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript, with a strong focus on software development and testing methodologies.
