Cloud Solutions Architect Opportunity

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our organization as a Cloud Solutions Architect, where you will play a pivotal role in establishing and leading the development of a Cloud Center of Excellence (COE) environment leveraging AWS technologies.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cloud technologies, architecture principles, and best practices, combined with strong leadership and communication skills.

This position will work with DevOps and other departments to promote higher uptimes, better user experience, and develop future improvements to the overall cloud environment.

  • Troubleshoots and resolves AWS service issues across development, testing, and production environments
  • Manages AWS services, working with internal service groups as required to ensure system availability meets project requirements
  • Designing, building, and deploying cloud solutions using various cloud services and platforms (AWS)
  • Providing guidance and technical expertise on cloud adoption, migration, and optimization
  • Develop scripts to automate systems administration and monitoring activities
  • Provide technical support on AWS-related issues, monitor solutions, and implement appropriate strategies to eliminate performance bottlenecks

Key Responsibilities:

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner certification, AWS SysOps Administrator Certification, Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or equivalent AWS Cloud Engineering/Architecture experience
  • 3+ years of AWS administration experience, including API Gateway, S3, ECS, EKS, Fargate, EC2, Lambda, WAF, and CloudTrail
  • 3+ years deploying Infrastructure as Code using tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform
