Lead Automation Specialist

We are seeking an accomplished professional to lead our automation efforts, designing and implementing scalable test solutions using Cypress and Playwright.

  • Develop comprehensive test plans and cases for functional, regression, and end-to-end scenarios.
  • Drive the integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.) for smooth, reliable releases.
  • Mentor and guide a team of QA engineers in best practices for automation, code reviews, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of automation frameworks for web, API, and end-to-end testing.
  • Ensure efficient defect management, reporting, and root cause analysis.
  • Promote the adoption of new tools, techniques, and processes to improve product quality and team efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in test automation, including significant hands-on work with Cypress and/or Playwright.
  • Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills; deep understanding of web application architecture.
  • Demonstrated ability to architect, design, and enhance scalable automation frameworks.
  • Significant experience integrating automated tests within CI/CD environments.
  • Hands-on team leadership: coaching, guiding, and fostering growth in QA engineers.
  • Experience with REST API testing and defect tracking tools.
  • Familiarity with source control systems (Git) and Agile/Scrum development.
