Indirect Tax Manager Job Overview

This is a management role that involves overseeing indirect tax assessments for various types of taxes, including VAT, CST, Entry Tax, and Entertainment Tax.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.

  • Manage indirect tax assessments, including filing returns and paying license fees.
  • Participate in GST audits and respond to show cause notices.
  • Maintain strong relationships with government departments, including Commercial Taxes and Entertainment Taxes.

To succeed in this role, the candidate should have a solid understanding of taxation principles and practices. They should also possess excellent communication and liaisoning skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Filing quarterly returns and paying license fees.
  • Collaborating with DOT officers for AGR verification.
  • Renewing and enhancing financial bank guarantees timely.

Educational Requirements:

  • Candidates should hold a qualified CA, LLB, or MBA Finance degree.

Essential Skills:

  • Effective communication and liaisoning skills.
  • Understanding of MS Office and Oracle.
