Regional News Marketing Strategy Lead

The Indian Languages Cluster is seeking an experienced marketing professional to lead our regional news strategy. As a key member of the cluster, you will be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns that drive growth and brand visibility across broadcast, digital, and OTT platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with business objectives and leverages data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
  • Collaborate closely with editorial, sales, and product teams to ensure cohesive marketing execution that advances key business goals and strengthens our footprint in regional news markets.
  • Oversee brand building and reputation management initiatives to establish the channel as a trusted and relatable brand in regional news segments.
Requirements:
  • MBA or equivalent degree with 5-8 years of experience in marketing roles, preferably in the regional news or general news segment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in brand building and marketing strategy with proven success in driving growth, brand visibility, and market positioning.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a strategic mindset, adept at translating complex business objectives into actionable and impactful marketing initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing channels, relevant YouTube and OTT metrics, and data analytics.
Leadership and Team Development:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and high standards.
  • Establish and manage budgets for the marketing department, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve business objectives.
  • Drive the development of a talent pipeline within the marketing function, ensuring the team remains at the forefront of industry trends and best practices.
