Senior Channel Sales Manager

Role Summary
The Senior Channel Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in driving business growth under the Banca team and Tie Ups. This key position is responsible for overseeing the business delivery, identifying opportunities, and implementing strategies to increase profits. The ideal candidate must have a deep understanding of the product, excellent business acumen, and strong leadership skills to motivate and train employees.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities
- Achieving Business Goals
- Responsible for achieving overall Gross Written Premium through effective channel relationships, workshops, and strategic planning.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth, analyze performance, and optimize results.
- Recruit and train agents to meet business needs, ensuring a skilled and motivated team.
- Develop and implement career orientation programs, name gathering activities, and other initiatives to enhance employee engagement.
- Develop and execute activation plans to drive business growth, including float contests and club conventions.
- Foster strong relationships with customers to increase retention rates and ensure timely renewals.
Stakeholder Interfaces
The Senior Channel Sales Manager will work closely with various stakeholders, including Operations, Product Towers, Finance, Human Resources, Claims, and Legal teams. External stakeholders include agents and end customers.
Experience and Education
The ideal candidate should have 0-1 year of experience in insurance and at least 3-4 years of experience in leading a company or business line in retail sales. Any graduation is acceptable.
