Finance Specialist Insurance Domain

We are seeking an experienced Finance Specialist to join our team in supporting a large-scale transformation programme. The successful candidate will work closely with Finance, Actuarial, and Technology teams to ensure the integrity of financial data and compliance with industry standards throughout the programme.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in insurance finance systems and cash management. Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing test cases for insurance-specific finance processes.
- Validating end-to-end financial processes, with a focus on penny testing, subledger reconciliation, and cash lifecycle testing.
- Ensuring accurate integrations between policy administration systems, claims systems, and the finance subledger.
- Validating IFRS/UK GAAP postings and confirming accounting rules are correctly applied.
- Performing data validation for high-volume insurance transactions and ensuring data integrity across multiple source systems.
- Logging, tracking, and retesting defects in collaboration with IT and finance teams.
- Supporting business users during UAT by providing guidance, preparing test evidence, and facilitating issue resolution.
- Communicating test progress, risks, and issues effectively to project managers, business stakeholders, and leadership teams.
This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent analytical skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
