Business Development and Insurance Compliance Specialist

Our organization is seeking an experienced Business Development and Insurance Compliance Specialist with a deep understanding of insurance finance regulatory compliance and accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have expertise in analyzing business and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance with local and international insurance regulations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives across multiple insurance lines, including M&A due diligence, IFRS 17 implementation, risk management, and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including regulators and industry partners.
  • Leading large-scale on-site and remote audits evaluating underwriting performance, claims reserves, and financial stability.
  • Overseeing the implementation and compliance with IFRS 17 and related standards for statutory reporting.
  • Developing and refining Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) frameworks aligned with regulatory bodies such as Solvency II.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical abilities to interpret complex data and a strong understanding of the insurance industry, particularly the nuances of regulatory requirements.
