We are seeking a Chief Data Innovation Officer to lead our data strategy and innovation agenda.

  • Responsible for supporting the development of industry-leading commercial data assets to inform business critical decisions and actions.
  • Works closely with stakeholders to identify gaps in current data strategy versus ideal state and prioritizes identified gaps.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintains a comprehensive understanding of the commercial data landscape, including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party data assets.
  • Scans the external environment for new valuable data assets and conducts data needs assessments in assigned areas.
  • Executes plans to fill prioritized gaps, including acquisition of new assets from external sources or identifying partners to create needed assets.
  • Partners with internal teams to ingest and review external data sources for use by analytics teams.
  • Conducts data innovation diagnostics, including data quality assessments and fit-for-purpose analyses.
Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of total experience in pharmaceutical product commercialization and analytics.
  • Prior experience in pharma data strategy space, leading and managing discussions with stakeholders, consumers, and data providers.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to comprehend how data can be leveraged to inform critical commercial decisions.
  • Ability to analyze and assess the commercial value of data assets.
