Job Title: IT Infrastructure Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Infrastructure Support Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time role that requires providing technical assistance, troubleshooting complex issues, and collaborating with other teams for resolution.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT systems, including hardware, software, and networking concepts. They should be proficient in diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues, and have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to software, hardware, and network systems.
  • Escalate tickets from Level 1 support and manage them to ensure timely and effective resolution.
  • Work closely with other teams to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Configure systems, applications, and user accounts.
  • Document troubleshooting steps, analysis, and solutions for future reference and knowledge sharing.
  • Contribute to building and maintaining the knowledge base for the support team.
  • Delve into root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
  • Provide training and guidance to new team members.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Windows Operating Systems (Client and Server)
  • Virtualization (Hyper-V, VMWare, among others)
  • Networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP etc.)
  • Basic scripting (PowerShell)
  • Linux Operating Systems (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL)
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in providing technical support
  • Certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, or Microsoft certifications
