Strategic Business Development

We seek an experienced Strategic Business Development professional to drive sales and throughput targets for petroleum and government sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key accounts, working with cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely approvals from customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Growth: Achieve sales and throughput targets for assigned responsibility.
  • Influencer Engagement: Work with design, product, sourcing, and field team to support large petroleum companies.
  • Cash Flow Management: Control outstanding payments within norms and increase wallet share in identified accounts.
  • Process Optimization: Coordinate with manufacturing for execution of petroleum orders, document tenders, and ensure product approval from customers.
Accountabilities:
  1. Manage key accounts for petroleum and government sectors.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide necessary support to field teams.
  3. Coordinate with related functions and external agencies for customer approvals.
  4. Control outstanding payments within norms and increase wallet share in identified accounts.
  5. Document tenders, register products, and ensure timely submission.
  6. Ensure product approval from customers through regular market visits.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in strategic business development or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of business growth, influencer engagement, and cash flow management.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and external agencies.
