We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Strength & Conditioning Specialist to join our team.
This role is designed to work closely with the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach, supporting high-intensity group training, functional strength development, and mobility sessions. You will also conduct daily member consultations and contribute to creating a safe, progressive, and motivating training environment for employees participating in corporate wellness and performance programs.
- Assist and occasionally lead Strength & Conditioning sessions (4 one-hour time slots daily as per schedule; responsibilities will be shared with the Head Coach).
- Lead Mobility & Recovery sessions (corrective exercise focus, not yoga).
- Conduct 1-hour daily consultations with members for assessments, progress tracking, and injury-prevention strategies.
- Support the Head S&C Coach in implementing training blocks (stability → strength → power).
- Ensure proper form, technique, and safe training practices in every session.
- Collaborate with members to build consistency, confidence, and functional performance.
- Maintain training logs and provide structured feedback on member progress.
To succeed in this role, you must hold a recognised Strength & Conditioning certification such as NSCA-CSCS, NASM, ISSA, ACE (S&C specialisation), or CrossFit Level 1+. You should have at least 18 months of coaching experience in strength training, functional fitness, or performance training.
Additional requirements include a strong understanding of corrective exercise, injury-prevention techniques, and mobility training. You should be able to coach in a holistic, form-first approach (not just heavy lifting) and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
