We are seeking a senior business development consultant to join our team at Marsh India Insurance Brokers Pvt Ltd. This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing business growth strategies, identifying new opportunities, and building strong relationships with clients.

Your primary focus will be on:

  • Collaborating with clients to design and implement organizational health risk management and wellness programs
  • Preparing implementation plans, defining roles, and bringing in appropriate health management vendors
  • Designing and planning every aspect of health risk management program implementation, including employee communication
  • Supervising the launch of health risk management programs and overseeing their operation
  • Leading multiple HRM/H&W consulting client engagements and developing trusted relationships with clients
  • Working with general consultants and business development staff to strategize on approaching target clients
  • Supporting overall client relationship building and management, as well as leading health risk management consulting and health risk management programs
  • Collaborating with other consultants to prepare comprehensive proposals for target clients and identifying opportunities for cross-selling projects and services

To succeed in this role, you will need:

Educational background

  • MBA from a reputable business school
  • 5+ years of proven experience in general insurance or a related field
  • Ability to manage diverse client cultures, including Indian Corporate, MNC Corporation, and PSU clients
  • Strong corporate relationship management and business solution provision skills from a service background
  • Domain knowledge, particularly in aviation, aerospace, and reinsurance
  • Knowledge of property and engineering lines is an added plus

Technical skills

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
