Job Title: Senior Workday Functional Consultant

Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our offshore team and play a critical role in implementing and configuring Workday solutions. This position is ideal for individuals looking to grow in Product Management, functional consulting, and/or business operations.

The successful candidate will possess strong Business Analyst (BA) skills combined with Workday functional expertise. They will be able to understand complex business processes, translate them into effective Workday configurations, and communicate seamlessly with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business stakeholders and Product Management to comprehend requirements, processes, and business needs.
  • Translate business requirements into Workday configurations, ensuring solutions are scalable and aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Configure and maintain Workday modules as per business requirements.
  • Prepare functional documentation, workflows, and support testing/UAT cycles.
  • Ensure timely delivery of Workday configurations and support change management activities.
  • Act as an anchor resource for the offshore team and provide leadership in establishing processes, governance, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, optimize solutions, and provide ongoing support.
  • Mentor and guide junior consultants as the offshore team grows.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant, with at least 2–3 years working with Workday configurations.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and business workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday HCM and relevant modules (certifications preferred).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in Agile environments, sprint planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
