Senior Oracle Exadata DBA

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Oracle Exadata DBA to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, maintaining, and performing critical Oracle RDBMS systems, including Exadata and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), to ensure availability and consistent performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and configure high-performance Oracle Exadata systems to meet the demands of large-scale database environments.
  • Develop and sustain multiple clients across various Oracle versions and platforms, ensuring operational readiness for both on-premises and cloud-based Oracle environments.
  • Administer and optimize Oracle Exadata systems, manage Oracle databases on OCI, and lead end-to-end cloud migration initiatives.
  • Design and implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions, monitor and tune performance using AWR, ASH, OEM, and SQL tuning tools, and automate database operations using scripting.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 8 years of production database support experience.
  • Hands-on experience supporting large-scale database environments.
  • Proven experience with Oracle Exadata systems, Oracle RAC, ASM, Grid Infrastructure, Oracle Multitenant (CDB/PDB), and Oracle GoldenGate and Data Guard.
  • Strong background in disaster recovery planning and execution, and public Cloud experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) required; OCI certifications preferred.
