Job Title: Data Architect

As a highly skilled data architect, you will play a key role in designing and implementing scalable and efficient data systems that support business growth. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing robust database solutions, integrating disparate data sources, and optimizing data flow to meet the evolving needs of our organization.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain complex database architectures using SQL Server and Oracle technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate database solutions with applications, services, and other data systems.
  • Develop and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using SSIS and PL/SQL to ensure seamless data integration and synchronization.
  • Implement and monitor database security measures, backup and recovery procedures, and high-availability strategies to ensure maximum uptime and minimal downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, blocking/deadlocks, and optimize resource utilization to maximize system efficiency.
  • Participate in database upgrades, migrations, and integrations between SQL Server and Oracle to stay ahead of the curve and leverage emerging trends and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in database architecture, design, and implementation.
  • Expertise in SQL Server and Oracle databases, including T-SQL and PL/SQL programming languages.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, normalization, and database design principles.
  • Experience with ETL tools, such as SSIS and PL/SQL.
  • Knowledge of database security best practices, backup and recovery procedures, and high-availability strategies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and optimize system performance.
